Co-operative Banks Development Agency : Capacity Building Unit

|
Some of the Agency’s functions are to: |
|
- promote the establishment of representative bodies and support organisations;
- register and regulate representative bodies, accredit and regulate support organisations;
- consult and liaise with the South African Qualifications Authority and relevant structures; and
- facilitate, promote and fund education, training and awareness programmes for an effective, efficient and sustainable financial co-operative sector.

In an attempt to fulfill the Agency’s functions the Capacity Building Unit focused on: |

- Building institutional partnerships towards sector-wide standards and approaches
- Delivering capacity enhancing support programmes
